The national Adult Social Care Workforce Survey (DHSC, July 2026) found that 40% of care workers report high anxiety, 56% have little or no financial security, and two in five have faced physical violence at work in the past year.
It told the country how care workers are doing. It didn't ask how the way you're staffed - agency, bank, permanent - affects any of it.
